This plant is featured on the back cover of the latest Gloucestershire Naturalists publication, the photograph was taken by me two years ago at a reserve on the Wye valley, and is used in my book on Woodland Wildflowers, published by Merlin Unwin.
It is quite a rarity and the only one I have ever seen. you can read more about it in the book along with accounts of other woodland Orchids and all the other shade tolerant plants that adorn our woods and hedgerows.
